Dr. G. S. Raju serves as the John Stroehlein Distinguished Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. His clinical and research interests include the study and management of colorectal neoplasia. He is listed in the Best Doctors of America.

Dr. Raju served as the editor of the CME and video gie sections of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Co-Chair of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy's Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Self Assessment Program V, VI, VII, VIII, Chair of the ASGE Web Education Committee and Educational Products Committee. He co-directed Video Editing Training Program for endoscopy fellows since 2007. The ASGE honored him with the ASGE Distinguished Service Award. He serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Video GIE, 2nd official journal of ASGE.
