| Gastrointestinal endoscope has evolved differently between the West and Japan. I think that there was "OMOTENASHI (hospitality)" which became famous for the campaign to host Tokyo Olympics behind the differences. I would like to examine how gastrointestinal endoscope was formed in Japan by "OMOTENASHI". On the other hand, by the pandemic of COVID-19 we were forced to stop tests and treatments with gastrointestinal endoscope. In the meantime, people are likely to develop cancer and may lose a chance of early detection and treatment. How much will the health disadvantage be. I would like to collect the scientific data about it and present it to you. Needless to say, the spirit of "OMOTENASHI" led to the motivation of development. We face an age of With / After COVID-19.
