I am Toshiharu Ueki of the Department of Gastroenterology, Fukuoka University Chikushi Hospital. I am chair of the 104th Congress of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) at JDDW2022.

It will be the third time that Fukuoka University Chikushi Hospital host of the meeting of JGES after the 58th Professor Tsuneyoshi Yao and the 82nd Professor Toshiyuki Matsui.

At the 104th Congress, we are planning a presentation and discussion on “What happened and will happen over the past over the past and the next 30years” as JDDW’s Strategic International Session. In the two international sessions, we will discuss “The cutting edge and future prospect of upper gastrointestinal and biliary endoscopic practice. In addition, 13 more main sessions are offers. We sincerely ask you to submit abstracts and participate in the conference to ensure the success of JDDW 2022 and the 104th Congress of the JGES.
