Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has been recognized as an effective treatment for recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection. Its role in other gut dysbiosis-related diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), has been extensively investigated with promising results. In this talk, we will review the current evidence and future direction of this novel treatment strategy in the field of IBD. We will also share our experience in developing a territory-wide FMT service model. |
