Hello everyone, I am Kiyohito Tanaka from Kyoto Second Red Cross Hospital, and I will be hosting the 110th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy during JDDW 2025. It is a great honor for me to serve as the President of the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, which boasts a long history and tradition. The main theme of this year's meeting is “Review and Discussion for Practical Clinical Use. I hope that this will be an academic meeting where we can once again discuss the still controversial diagnostic and treatment policies and have discussions that will benefit as many members as possible.

We are also planning to have a video session so that participants can learn and refine actual techniques. Of course, we plan to invite many well-known endoscopists from all over the world to give lectures and comments.
