Dr. Mohan Ramchandani is the Director of Interventional Endoscopy at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, India, and has more than two decades of experience in advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, third-space endoscopy, pancreatobiliary interventions, and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. He received advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy in Japan and China and has contributed significantly to the development of advanced endoscopy programs and training in India. Dr. Ramchandani currently serves as Co-Editor of Endoscopy and has previously held leadership positions in the Society of GI Endoscopy of India (SGEI), including Treasurer and Joint Secretary. He has authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications and is a regular invited faculty member at international conferences, live endoscopy workshops, and training programs. His major academic interests include POEM, cholangioscopy, GI oncology, image-enhanced endoscopy, and innovation in therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic education.
